Rosie, sent me this post to let people know of something else cool that happened in our community...
I work at a high school called Somerville Baptist College. It's an amazing school to get involved with as the staff love the kids so much. Our community at Mosaic decided to give each of the graduating students a copy of the book Soul Cravings by Erwin McManus. Last night I watched 94 Year 12's walk across a stage ending one part of their life, and entering the world to find out exactly who they are as an adult, without the safety net of school.
As always it's sad to see them leave, but you also realise how much people grow and change in 5 years, and how often we outgrow our surroundings and need to move on. They will all at one point in their lives realise their need and craving for intimacy, destiny and meaning.
I hope they find it in a community like Mosaic... I hope they search for it and end up satisfying their craving with the only thing that truly can... a relationship with God. I hope for them...

What an awesome thing to do for those students. I hope that a large percentage of the students take the time to read the book.
Soul Cravings is one of the books on my 'wishlist'. I'd love a copy.
What is the short film series about? I listened to the podcasts of Erwin's Soul Cravings messages given at Mosaic. Is the DVD the same thing?
Mosaic made 3 short films to go along with the Soul Cravings theme. They come in a box set called Crave. It is readily available around the place if you know where to look (and which country you're looking in). Let me know if I can help you out with finding them. They're well worth it!
