On Monday night I was watching Enough Rope when Andrew Denton interviewed a guy called Matt Harding. Matt is a video game developer in America who decided to travel around the world with a mate. When they were in Vietnam his friend was filming him and told him to dance. It became something he did all around the world in front of land marks, and he edited and posted it on his website for friends and family to enjoy...except that the whole world started enjoying it to the point where his server was getting 20,000 hits a day. When he returned home a chewing gum company asked him to go around the world again, but he couldn't because he was broke. They came up with the cash to sponsor him, and off he went again, dancing around the world.
When he started dancing in Rwanda, something changed. As he started to dance all these kids jumped in the shot and started dancing with him. His whole view of what he was doing changed. Instead of bringing joy to himself and to a few people back home he found that doing silly dances brought people together in a universal language, and the journey became so much more because it was shared...it was just better.
Kinda made me think that life is not meant to be lived or experienced alone. That's what we try to do at Mosaic. We want to live life together as a community of broken people, in the hands of a Master Artist. Sometimes it's really hard (especially when you're as introverted as me), but when you experience it you realise that, in the words of Jack Johnson, "it's always better when we're together."
Watch Matt's video below. It will put a smile on your face!

That is AWESOME!!! I want a chewing gum company to sponsor me!
On a serious note, what a great great picture of people around the world uniting together, kinda like the Olympics, only without the money, drugs, nationalism and cheesy commentary!!
Great post Rosie, your FIRST EVER!!!
